The Early Stars

The notion never leaves me

No leisure for a restless heart

Summers breathing lessons

Collapsing air we fall apart

Oh, and when you sink into the ground you'll fly.

Face your own sky

Darkness pours down from the early stars

Wait for my sign

We'll go quietly together.

The slow eyes disappointed

No liesure for a wanting heart

Struggle in seperation

Silent and alone.

And when they open up their

Papers they'll know

Fumbling around with outstretched hands

While you and I can.
