Trying to get home from a place so far away

That fairy tales, they ain't got nothing on this place

Didn't get a little help from my friends or the Architect

And I ended up in my space with some Australian blend

They keep on dropping hints but i don't pick them up

A couple pennies on the floor, i say "you call that luck?"

Don't think i'm gonna make it, just know that i tried

I tried so hard to please everyone my face got tried

I got so weak that i can't even reach my own front door

When my heart still beating there out on my porch

Sorry that i missed you on monday

My body fell apart, then it laid right in my way

I got no big story to tell, now i'm not there and back from Hell

But i blew it this time, and i missed you on monday

They're tryn' me like a jury, and i can't drop my defense

All you got is a story, don't even care if it make sense

And now i handcuffed to this bench, but i'm the one robbed of all my strenght

No i'm not giving up, but it sure feels that way
