Growing up, I remember the times

The feelings that still help to pull me through

Times change and friends may fade

But there's so much left I still hold on to

No worries in life, or jobs to attend

Just hanging out with old friends

But time went fast, and days flew by

Before I knew it, a new day would rise

Memories of growing up are always kept close to my heart

It's who I am and how I live
