We talk about South Africa and we say that it's a shame

Apartheid is wrong and we all share the blame

But people let me tell you, everywhere it's just the same

People being mistreated, when will it change?

Let's talk about the future and learn from the past

We must love one another if this world is going to last

We fought for self-respect, and we fought for equal rights

I want freedom in my life, that's the way it's got to be
