We were given knowledge to light our way

But we fed that flame ‘til nothing could grow back

What will you do with your no-coiner and tell your children when all the trees are dust?

I could’ve done better

I could’ve gone further

I could’ve been more “Promethean”

I could’ve looked higher

I could’vе looked elsewhеre for what I could find around me

I could’ve felt way more guilty

But I’m not here to beg for forgiveness

I’m so sorry… I preferred to live

I need assistance to find resilience

And lead us somewhere... where none has to beg for forgiveness

For the world we live in does not belong to us!

We've all been fooled into hoping that the world

We've created could never become uninhabitable

But we only have to look around us to realize

That the only thing we can do is come together

I could’ve done better

Why build a shelter in a world which is not ours?

The only pain that haunts me to the core

Is dragging all us animals through the war

They asked for none of this; they had no say

And yet we burn us all on our last day
