The Dread March of Solemn Gods

Arise from ancient graves

Sealed with mighty spells

Breakable by the will

To crush all life

I feel the dark, embrace my flesh

The north winds cry their siren's wail until the bitter end of light

The stars align

The paths entwine to lead me further in to endless night

I feel their call, I hear the wisht hounds howl in celebration

With frozen chains, the dread king reigns

The Lord of Winter 'throned 'til the very end of days

Spectres of the ancient world

Unholy ones gathering to ride out of ice once more

I see the congregation rise above the snowy peaks

Over crumbling ruins and the strongholds of old

Through the deepest valleys and over castle walls

The never-ending cavalcade, a portent to be feared

Ancient is their wisdom, bound by holy night

Hunters clad in hoary iron descending from the skies

The horses march with rotten hooves above the icy ground

Spreading fear and chaos to conquer all light

This is the end

With the blessing of nightfall, our forces gather

From Stygian depths they ascend

Crypt and tomb has emptied

The vaults of kings storied and grim

Ancient warriors lusting for death

Sleep in fear ye feeble ones

For cold death is at hand

The windowpanes shatter and the earth starts to growl

And the dead rise all around you

Sacred night, O holy night

Our swords burn with celestial fire

Twilight forged armour reflects the black stars

Under winter constellations 'til the end
