Beatra now uses a unified music database. Your listening history, playlists, and stats are cleaner, faster, and smarter than ever.

We completely rebuilt how Beatra stores and manages music. Instead of saving the same song multiple times from different platforms, every song now lives in one place β we call it MasterTrack.
When you played "Kuzu Kuzu" from YouTube and someone else played it from Spotify, Beatra treated them as two completely different songs. Your play counts were split, stats were fragmented, and search results were messy.
The same song could appear 5+ times in our database with slightly different names:
All the same song β but counted separately.
Every song gets a single, unified record with links to all platforms where it exists:
When you play a song from any platform, Beatra automatically recognizes it and connects it to the right MasterTrack. Your stats, play counts, and listening history all go to the same place.
We use AI to clean up messy song titles and match songs across platforms. When a YouTube channel named "HYBE LABELS" uploads "ILLIT (μμΌλ¦Ώ) 'Sunday Morning' Official MV", our AI knows the real artist is ILLIT and the song is Sunday Morning.
This means:
Better Stats β Your play counts, listening time, and top tracks are now accurate. No more split stats across platforms.
Faster Search β Songs you've played before load instantly from our database instead of searching platforms every time.
Cross-Platform Links β On song detail pages, you'll see direct links to the song on Spotify, YouTube, YouTube Music, and other platforms where we've found it.
Cleaner Playlists β Playlist tracks are linked to MasterTrack, so metadata stays clean and consistent.
Smarter Recommendations β Since all your listening data goes to one place, recommendations are more accurate.
This is the biggest infrastructure update we've ever shipped. Everything works the same way you're used to β just better, faster, and cleaner behind the scenes.
