Introducing Custom Bot: Run Beatra Under Your Own Name

We are excited to announce Custom Bot, a brand-new Beatra premium product that lets you run the complete Beatra music experience under your own Discord bot — with your own name, avatar and banner. Instead of inviting the shared Beatra bot, your community sees a bot that looks and feels entirely like yours, while it plays music using Beatra's full engine behind the scenes.

What Is Custom Bot?

Custom Bot is a white-label version of Beatra. You supply your own Discord bot token, and Beatra runs its entire codebase in "tenant mode" under that identity. Your members get every Beatra feature — YouTube, Spotify and SoundCloud playback, audio effects, playlists, 24/7 mode, autoplay, lyrics and more — but branded as your own bot.

Each Custom Bot can serve up to 3 servers at once. If you need more, you can buy additional Custom Bots from your account.

Why We Built It

The old "Dedicated" tier promised isolation but still used the shared, visible Beatra identity. Custom Bot makes that tier honest: the isolation is now at the Discord identity level. Your bot has its own name and picture, its own presence and its own prefix — a real personal bot for your community, powered by infrastructure we maintain for you.

How to Get It

1. Open the Premium page and switch to the Custom Bot tab (or go straight to the Custom Bot page).
2. Complete the purchase. Billing is per bot, not per server — you choose the servers afterwards.
3. You are taken to the onboarding flow, where you paste your bot token, enable the required intents and pick your servers.
4. Beatra sets up your bot in seconds and gives you an invite link to add it to your servers.

Setting Up Your Bot

To run a Custom Bot you first need a Discord application with a bot token. If you have never created one, don't worry — we wrote a complete step-by-step guide, and there is a video tutorial linked right inside the setup screen. You will create an application, enable the three Privileged Gateway Intents (Presence, Server Members and Message Content), turn on Public Bot and copy your token. Managing Your Custom Bot

After setup, the management panel lets you:

• Change the bot's name, avatar and banner (branding updates are rate-limited to keep Discord happy).
• Swap which servers the bot serves.
• Update the command prefix.
• Reset the token if you ever regenerate it in the Developer Portal.
• Pause or delete the bot.

Your bot also appears in the main Beatra dashboard, where you can control playback, view the current track, and search and queue songs directly from your browser.
