Discord is used globally, and Beatra was built for a global audience. With support for over 20 languages, every community can interact with Beatra in their native language.
How to Change Beatra's Language
Run the language command:
/language
A menu will appear with all available languages. Select your language and every response from Beatra — track embeds, error messages, queue displays, confirmations — will switch to that language immediately.

Server-Wide vs Personal Language
The /language command sets the language for the entire server. All users in the server will see Beatra's responses in the configured language.
This is ideal for:
- Non-English servers that want a fully localized experience
- Multilingual communities that have agreed on a shared language
- Regional servers where a local language is preferred over English
Language Setting and Admin Control
Setting the server language requires the Manage Server permission (or server administrator). This prevents random users from switching the language.
If you are a server admin, you can lock it to your preferred language once and never worry about it again.
How Translations Work
Every response in Beatra — from the now-playing embed to error messages to the queue display — has been translated into all supported languages. Translations are maintained by the Beatra team with help from community contributors.
If you spot a translation error, you can report it on the Beatra Discord server.
Tips for Non-Latin Scripts
Languages with non-Latin scripts like Arabic (right-to-left), Japanese, Korean, and Chinese display correctly in Discord's embed system. Beatra's embeds are designed to render cleanly regardless of script direction.
Combining Language with Other Settings
The language setting works alongside all other Beatra configuration:
- Custom prefix — set a prefix in any language
- Audio effects — commands work in all languages
- 24/7 mode — language applies to auto-messages
