How to Set Up Beatra on Your Discord Server (Step-by-Step Guide)
Adding Beatra to a Discord server takes about 5 minutes. This guide covers every step from invite to first song.
Step 1: Invite Beatra to Your Server
- Go to beatra.app
- Click Add to Discord
- Select the server you want to add Beatra to from the dropdown
- Review and authorize the requested permissions
- Complete any CAPTCHA verification
Beatra will immediately appear in your server's member list.
Step 2: Assign Beatra's Role Permissions
Beatra needs these minimum permissions to work correctly:

#musicor#beatra - In the channel settings, set Beatra's role to have full access
- You can restrict other members from sending messages there so only bot output appears
Step 4: Play Your First Track
Join a voice channel, then in any text channel:
/play query: Never Gonna Give You Up
Beatra will join your voice channel and start playing.
Step 5: Customize Your Prefix (Optional)
If you prefer a custom text prefix instead of slash commands:
/prefix new: !
Now you can use !play, !skip, etc. in addition to slash commands.
Step 6: Set Your Server Language
Beatra supports 20+ languages. Set the bot language for your server:
/language
Select your preferred language from the menu. All bot responses will switch to that language.
